7 weeks old

Since we were out of town I wasn't able to take Rylan's weekly blanket picture. My first "mom fail" and surely not the last.  We did manage to take a few pics during the week prior to leaving for the Central Valley.

Happy Thanksgiving

For Rylan's first Thanksgiving we packed up the family and traveled to Nana's house. Rylan was a trooper and barely made a peep during the 4 hour drive.  It was so fun to see all of our family. We ended our trip with a stop in Bako. Unlce Matt and Tia Romina made enchiladas. They were fabulous! We expect nothing less when those two are in the kitchen.

This week Rylan has really started responding to my voice with a smile. It definitely softens the blow of the sleepless nights.

4 weeks old

Baby RC is 4 weeks old today. It's hard to believe it's been 4 whole weeks/it's only been 4 weeks. I'm sure it's the sleep deprivation but I struggle to remember life before she got here.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the week.

Rylan seems to enjoy bath time, but the walk from the bathroom to the towel on the bed is a little upsetting. Once she's wrapped up, she's happy as a clam!!
