16 weeks

We had a busy week getting ready for Tia Romina's baby shower!  On top of that I started taking Rylan to stroller strides.  Its a boot camp for me with a baby play group after.  She LOVES the other babies.  I fear this child may be more social than I am.

Rylan spent Sunday afternoon catching up with Pop while I met some friends.  She clearly missed him while we were in the central valley.

We had a mini photo shoot in a dress from Aunt Lila.  Lila bought Rylan this dress because it reminded her of our wedding.  Rylan is lucky to have such a thoughtful God Mother.

Crooked smile

She had an absolute melt down on the way to Hobby Lobby.  Not that you can tell after the 20 minute "lunch break" she took in the parking lot.  There is no such think a quick errand with a baby.

Rylan had a play date with Caitlin while Laura helped me with some last minute decorations

We bought Dad his own carrier this week.  Rylan AND Dad approve.

Very excited about our Home Depot run

We have switched bath time from mornings to after dinner.  These are the life altering decisions that keep me up at night.

Oh how I love this little turkey

15 weeks

On Monday, Rylan and I packed our bags and headed to the Central Valley to visit the Grandparents.  Rylan and Sean both handled it pretty well.

We pulled out the high chair prior to leaving.  She loves being part of the action.

Rylan thinks her Dad is the funniest person she's ever met.  One (of many) things Rylan and I have in common.

We stopped at the bottom of the Grapevine for coffee and "milk", she's always happiest when she gets her way.

Rylan has gotten the memo that Grandma's iPad is the BEST.  Thank you, Taylor and Reese.

Loves her bath at Grandma and Papa's house too!

Spending some QT with Nana

FaceTime with Dad

Chatting with Grandma C in Bakersfield!  Rylan loved making meals freezer meals for Cousin Lulu's big arrival!!

We stopped in Irvin on the way home for coffee and "milk", I'm starting to see a trend.

AND happy to be home!

14 weeks

Another week in the books.  This girl definitely keeps me on my toes!

Still working that tongue

She decided she hates nap this week

Always multitasking

Zoned out to Mickey

Sometimes making it until bath time is an accomplishment worthy of a glass of wine in my special glass

Working on tummy time

Rylan got dressed up for happy hour with Laura and Caitlin. This outfit didn't actually make it to dinner but I snapped a few good pics before she ruined it.

Showing off her surprised look

I swear she isn't as judgmental as she appears

3 Months Old

We are 3 for 3 for monthly beach pics!  On this particular trip to the beach we ran into our friend Abby and her pup Penelope.  We went to Abby's wedding when I was 37 weeks pregnant, 2 short weeks before Rylan made her debut.  Hard to believe that was 3 months ago!

Today Rylan loves her tongue, chewing on her fist and yelling at her Mom.  She has also decided she doesn't like sleeping alone.  As exhausting as it is, I know there will come a time when I will give anything for just one more sleepless night, so that I can hold her while she sleeps just one more time.

Family beach pic!

Later that day we watched the Packers defeat the Cardinals in the playoffs.

Daddy has decided Rylan's cheesehead is lucky and insists she wears it for big plays.

Lucky number 13!

Rylan is 13 weeks today! She loves smiling, grabbing and watching Mickey Mouse. We've quickly discovered being good parents comes second to surviving the day. So Mickey Mouse Clubhouse it is.

We started off the week with a hike!

Which was clearly exhausting.

She loves sitting in her chair and playing with her learning cube from Uncle Austin and Aunt Cameron!

Rylan had a chance to visit Baby Caitlin this week. It's hard to believe that three short months ago Rylan was that small!

Miss attitude is going through a little phase where she only wants to chat with mom.

A perfect picture of Rylan perfecting her grab. I watched her work on it for 15 minutes. You would have thought she graduated from Stanford by the way I cheered when she finally grabbed that pink ball.

All dressed up for a sushi date with Dad!

Either that pup is getting smaller or my girl is getting bigger!

No better way to end the very full week!

Happy New Year

We didn't make it til midnight but we had fun nonetheless!

I really wanted Rylan to wear her sparkly new overalls for New Years Eve, she did not. One very messy diaper later she got her way.

She was much happier with her second outfit.  It's important for a girl to have opinions...

Mom and Dad had shabu shabu in honor of Papa's birthday. Rylan obliged by sleeping through most of it.

We started 2016 off right with crab cake Benedict and Irish coffees.  She did NOT sleep through this meal but it was still a fun way to start the day and the year.

12 weeks

Rylan and are a thrilled to have Pop home this week.  His company is closed from Christmas to New Years so we have taken advantage of the time off to catch up on some house hold projects and baby bonding.  I think Pop will be ready to go back to work once the week is over.

Sporting a new Christmas outfit from Grandma T while hanging out with a Christmas stuffed animal from Grandma C

Chatting with Aunt Lila after a walk around the bay

This girl still LOVES her bath

We refer to her wash cloth as her bestie.  She hugs it, sucks on it and chats with it the entire bath.

After her bath I wrap her in a towel and roll her around the bed.  She absolutely loves it.

Back on track with our weekly pictures!
