28 weeks

We started off week 28 with Rylan's Baptism and ended the week with a very bad cold. It was so nice to celebrate such a special event with all of our friends and family.  We could have done without the cold.

Brunch at Grandma's favorite place, Great Maple!

Rylan loved Grandma's boozy pickle

Rylan made a new friend

I have a feeling all of these people will be a huge source of knowledge and support for Rylan growing up.

Rylan's baptism dress was absolutely beautiful and very special.  It was special because it was made out of my wedding dress by Rylan's Great Grandmother.  We are so lucky to have such a talented Nana.

We were so happy Grandma and Grandpa could make it!

Aunt Lila takes her job very seriously

Goodbye breakfast with Grandma and Papa.  They brought toys - shocking!  The Grandparent hangover will be strong tomorrow.

I tried to combat the Grandparent hangover with a pool date at Rylan's bestie's house

Rylan is very determined to catch Penny.  Its only a matter of time Penny...

Rylan and I volunteered to be part of a study at UCSD.  We went to the Children's Vision lab and Rylan looked at different pictures on a screen.  Its the same lab Aunt Cameron worked at during college!

My girl is not good at change.  All I did was take the new born hammock out of her bathtub.  She was not pleased.  It took a solid two days before bath time became fun again.

Poor girl woke up not feeling well

She wanted to play so badly but had to take lots of rests

  1. Spending time with Rylan, Sean and Ashley is so special for some many people for so many reasons. That is especially so, when we are all gathered for a special event like Rylan's baptism.
